Rachel Budwick is a North Florida native and Live Oak local. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Florida State University in 2012. Since then, she has explored a range of creative media, including drawing, painting, collage, and mural art. In addition to her creative pursuits, Budwick has spent the last 12 years as an educator and devoted mother.

Nature has long been a source of inspiration for Budwick.  Flora and fauna will always be her muse.  A childhood in rural North Florida provided the groundwork for a lifelong passion for growth, decay, and meteorological intrusions.  The milieu of ferns, fungus, oak hammocks, detritus, saplings, and wildflowers will always have a say in her creative endeavors.
